Begin Coursework at a University
All universities have courses required of all
students before graduation. TAMU-CC calls theirs the core curriculum, but
other terms are also used to describe these courses (university requirements,
general education requirements, etc). As long as the courses meet the state
of Texas
criteria*,
completing the entire core curriculum at an accredited institution usually
means the core curriculum has been met for TAMU-CC. However, that
determination is made after an official transcript has been submitted and
reviewed by the registrar's office.
